The Lake County Sheriff’s Office requires that individuals follow official rules when funding inmate commissary accounts. Lake County Visitation Rules and Schedules

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office requires all visitors to the Lake County Detention Center to abide by the thes rules. While the Lake County Detention Center allows only video visits, Visits with inmates at the Lake County Detention Center are scheduled through the scheduling app link on the Lake County Detention Center’s visitation page. Each inmate at the Lake County Detention Center is allowed two free weekly remote or on-site video visits, and each may last up to an hour. Visitors to the Visitation Center must be 18 years or older and have a valid government-issued photo ID. If minors are present, they must be under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Furthermore, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office does not permit:

  • Spaghetti straps/strapless tops
  • Short-shorts, skirts, and short dresses.
